Patricia Lucille (Cooper) Osborne

September 10, 1930 - November 28, 2013

Patricia (Cooper) Osborne was born September 10, 1930 in Forsyth, Montana. As a young girl her family moved to Silverton, and she graduated from Silverton High School in 1949. She married Gordon Osborne in Salem in 1952. They lived briefly in Tallahassee, Florida, Roseburg and Corvallis before returning to Salem. They had two children, Alan and Talli. Patricia worked for the State of Oregon Department of Transportation for many years and retired in the mid 1980's. She and Gordon divorced in 1988. In her retirement she became a talented wood carver and has left a legacy of carvings for her grandchildren. She spent many of her retirement years living with her sister and best friend, Connie Nelson. She is survived by sisters Stella McKenzie and Connie Nelson; children Alan (Teresa) Osborne and Talli (Denny) Pierre; grandchildren Ellen and Mary Osborne and Emily, Anna and Jack Pierre; and numerous cousins. She is buried at the Miller Cemetery in Silverton with her parents Lawrence and Jessia Cooper and her brother Paul Cooper. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 28 at 10:30 at the Calaroga Terrace Chapel, 1400 NE 2nd Ave, Portland 97232.
