Rodney Patterson Obituary
May 24, 1951 - March 31, 2015
Rod Patterson passed away peacefully at this home in Stayton, OR 3/31/2015. He was born in Salem, OR to Susie May and Lewis Sterling Patterson. He graduated from South Salem High School in 1969 and began working at Norpac Foods in Stayton. He retired in 2008 after working for 33 years. Norpac is where he met and eventually married the love of his life, Patricia Rogers. They spent 35 years together full of adventures, laughter, and a lot of love. Rod loved motorcycles and enjoyed spending time riding them, or being in his garage working on them. His greatest joy though, came from spending time with his 3 grandchildren. Rod is survived by his wife Patricia, his children Brian (Tracy) Rogers, Abram Colony, Tamra Montemayor, and his grandchildren Victoria and Michael Montemayor and Hailey Rogers. He is also survived by his brothers Warren (Margy) Patterson, Gordon (Linda) Patterson, and Stan (Kathy) Patterson. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial service Saturday, April 4 at 10am at Weddle Funeral Chapel in Stayton. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services.
