Wayne Bender Obituary
August 14, 1919 - October 30, 2012
SALEM - 93 Born to Albert and Ruth Bender in Scottsbluff, Nebraska on August 14, 1919. Wayne served in the Army in WWII before getting his Bachelors of Divinity and serving as a minister for over 40 years. In 1940 Wayne married Athie Edgar. Together they had two sons, Calvin of Salem, OR and Valdin of Gresham, OR.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at 3:00pm at Oak Park Community Church 2990 Lancaster Dr. NE Salem. Arrangements made by Howell Edwards Doerksen Funeral Directors.
