My deepest condolences to Blane's family and friends. He will be dearly missed. I had the pleasure of working with Blane the pass three years and to say I learned a lot from him is an understatement. His sharpe memory and ability to make complex problems easy is remarkable. His spirit and dedication are profoundly inspirational. To his co-workers and his team he was an irreplaceable wealth of knowledge and to me he was a symbol of confidence. Whenever I'm unsure about anything professionally I would run it by Blane and he always point me in the right direction. I will always remember Blane.

Blane was a dedicated servant of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus and member of Richland Creek Community Church in Wake Forest. Blane served as an usher and greeter at the Creel's Saturday Night Service. You could always find him serving and greeting people with a warm smile. Grateful for his walk with Christ Jesus. God's richest blessings in Christ!

My deepest condolences to Blane´s family and friends. I worked with Blane for 20 years, and he was one of the engineers that interviewed and trained me. I loved Blane for his direct, tell it like it is, approach. Over the years, I took on a support role for our many tools, and I was asked once, "Nicole, who do you go to when you have a question"? There was no hesitation in my answer, Blane Nichols was the guy. He knew our meters forwards and backwards. I remember sitting with him, debugging problems, and he would remember every step, in the exact order, that we had taken to isolate a bug. Meanwhile, I had to take detailed notes to keep track of the many steps and test cases. His mind was keen and brilliant. I will truly miss him, and I was blessed to know him.
