Darrell Rash

1958 - 2025

In loving memory of a life so beautifully lived and a heart so deeply loved. Darrell Keith Rash 67, born March 29th, 1958, and resided in Hiddenite NC passed away in Jacksonville, Florida, Oct.7th 2025, after a very hard-fought battle against a very aggressive terminal illness. He attended Mt Nebo Church in Hiddenite, NC. Keith last worked at JC Steel and Son. He was a dedicated Boy Scout Leader for several years and led his two sons to become Eagle Scouts. He left behind his dedicated and most cherished, loving wife, Nancy. His loving mother, Maxine Bissaillon. Two sons, Justin and Bradly Rash; one stepson, Joey Johnson Jr.; two grandchildren, Cherokee and Dakota Johnson; and one great grandchild, Dakota Johnson Jr., brothers, Terry Henderson (Marcia), Randy Henderson, Allen Henderson, Rodney Millsaps (Darlene), Shannon Millsaps (Kim) ; sister, Sherri Wingler Hamby; along with several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Keith loved God, deer hunting, and trout fishing in the mountain streams. He was a dedicated husband, father, son, and brother. He was always there for family and friends. Arrangements are being made by Quinn Shalz funeral home in Jacksonville, Fl. There will be a memorial held for Keith in NC at a later date.
