Awe Sweet Gordy, I am truly going to miss you so much!! Thank you for all your many kindnesses. The 5 am laughs, the shelter in snow storms, the talks in your garage. The Christmas party! My favorite memory, is of you listening to a rap rap song that came on and you turned your veterans cap backwards you started dancing! Such a super charged spirit! I hope your next life reflects all the joy you brought to people in this life. Im sad that you had to go, but ill catch up with you again in the next life. I love you.

I will miss Gordy very much .I met Gordy and Dolly about 40 years ago. Gordy never met a stranger. He always had a joke or 2 to to tell. He and I were Waffle House friends . I met Gordy and Dolly in 1978 when they came to an open house party at my home in Statesville. We became good friends ever since. I will miss him a lot. Larry Fournier

Gerry and I send our most sincere sympathy to your family. Gordy and my husband Gerry grew up together. I met Gordy at Charlotte High School. We used to double date and always had a laugh because Gordy always had a joke or more. We would always stop to see Gordy and Dolly on our way to Florida and spend a day with them. So much fun and so many wonderful memories. We will truly miss him. What a wonderful person he was!
