Lisa JoAnn Fluke, born in Baltimore, Maryland passed away unexpectedly on June 1st, 2025 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Her life was a testament to joy, kindness, and unwavering faith.
She was preceded in death by her birth parents, Christine and Van Keith Jones, her special mom, Linda Mumford, her father-in-law, Daniel Fluke, and sister, Donna Jones.
Lisa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Tim Fluke; her two daughters, Danielle Fluke and Bethany Fluke Mendez; her son-in-law, Eliu Mendez; her cherished grandson, Elias Mendez; and her loyal fur companion, Archer. She is also survived by her sister, Robbin Swanson (Randy), and brother Randy Jones (Sherry), mother-in-law, Gladys Fluke, and sisters-in-law Glenda Macas (Luis) and Martha Stanley (Marc).
For 28 years, Lisa served with love and dedication in the Iredell-Statesville School System. She also embraced her role as a pastor's wife at A New Beginning P.H. Church, ministering alongside her husband and touching the lives of many through her faith and kindness.
Those who knew Lisa will remember her radiant smile, vibrant spirit, and the joy she carried into every room. She had an extraordinary gift for making others feel seen and loved, often remembering their faces even if names escaped her. Her caring, fun-loving nature left an impression on everyone she met. She will be forever missed and deeply remembered.
She was blessed with a circle of friends who were like family to her, and their friendships brought her love and joy every day of her life. These friends were among the many gifts God placed in her life. Tim and the girls are deeply grateful for the kindness, support, and comfort these friends have shown during this difficult time.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday July 26th, 2025 at Cornerstone Church located on 650 Glover Street, Statesville North Carolina at 11 a.m. All who knew and loved Lisa are invited to attend and wear red or pink, Lisa's favorite colors.

Wow
There are no words and I waited a while to post. I grew up with Lisa and her family attended my Dads church, and 30 years later I became her sister in law. Circle of life . It has been a true joy to be her sister in law for the last 14.5 years. She never met a stranger and always had a smile and if she didn´t like something, she never hesitated to let you know. That´s why we got along so well.
I will miss her deeply but more important than that, I will see her again. Heaven sounding sweeter all the time.

I have been friends with the Flukes for 55 years. I watched her husband Tim grow up.
Went to his wedding and I just loved Lisa. I teased her about talking so fast. I have a lot of good memories and I'm so thankful that I got to see Tim and Lisa in March at Tim's mother's surprise birthday party. That will be a special memory. Prayers and thoughts go out to the families.

I have no words at the news of this sweet, godly, cancer kickin, 2nd momma and just the sincerest woman i have ever met. Im still trying to wrap my head with the news! Girls i want to tell yall that you all and her grandson was her life! I monitored for lisa when i first started at ISS in 2020 and we instantly clicked! 1 of my favorite memories was when we had just pulled in bus garage parking lot and she was getting ready to attend a wedding and she knew i loved dancing and got to talking about some dances and if she knew any! Lisa being herself, she said look at me do i look like i can danceWell we, myself and tonya murdock sit in the parking lot a good 30 minutes or more and tried our best teaching her the cupid shuffle, electric slide and the wobble, had a blast! Well that next week we asked her how it went, she said, Well i done something and how i done it, it looked nothing like what yall showed me! I will miss her beeps from her car and her blowing me kisses Mrs Lisa i will forever miss your sunshine and that beautiful living smile and that 1 and only cackley laugh! REST EASY MY SWEET DEAR FRIEND! I LOVE U AND YOU WILL BE MISSED BY SO MANY

I can´t remember a time in my life when it did not include Lisa. She and I were not blood sisters but we were sisters in every way that mattered. We shared so many good time going out to eat, shopping and our most precious memory was carving the turkey on Thanksgiving day! Lisa had a smile that lit up a room and a joy that always bubbled over. The world needs more people like Lisa in it. Lisa lived life to the fullest. Thank you God for blessing my life with Lisa Fluke! She will forever be in my heart and I will cherish every memory forever.

We first met in a trailer park in Maxton, NC. We also attended the same church. Our friendship remains until this day! Although we didn´t meet or speak often, when we saw each other, we just picked up from our last visit!

We moved to Greeneville Tennessee when I was in the 7th grade. Lisa and Tim both made us feel so welcome
Lisa attended a Christmas play at my school that December it meant the world to me.
