To the family of Tony Bellamy,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Tony. I met Tony decades ago, when we were board members of the Wilmore Neighborhood Association and became good friends. He was principled and committed to improving home ownership in Wilmore, which was our charge. As life goes, I lost contact with Tony over the years. He always talked so glowing about his girls (daughters) and how proud he was to be their dad. I would love to speak to his daughters to pay my respect. I hope they will contact me through my email, which the funeral service provider can provide.
God bless the family. Earl Leake

I first met Tony at the Y when I started working there 3 years ago. He was very personable to everyone and it was always a pleasure for all when he came. He was one of those individuals that could have good discussion on anything and through the years he and I discussed family, motorcycles, cars, car repair, politics, government, fishing and history just to name a few. Tony always asked what my 3 kids were up to and always remembered everything about each almost as if they were his own.

Tony was one of the few members that I met at the YMCA who was a close friend to me. Me being a lifeguard who works there, he´d always come to the pool and chat and have a cool story to share. My truest condolences to the family and friends of Tony. He was a good man and friend, I only hope well for him in heaven.

My heart is heavy concerning the passing of Tony. I only knew him through the Statesville YMCA. He would come just about every day and her in the pool. He had a very pleasant spirit, always polite, seemingly without a care in the world. We will truly miss seeing him at the Y. The front desk workers of the Statesville YMCA sends our condolences to the family. May God bless and comfort you and give you strength. In Jesus Name.
