Anita Pierce
Anita L. Pierce, age 82 of St. Augustine passed away December 31, 2020 in at Riverside Cottages in St. Augustine. She was born in Morristown, NJ to Howard and Beatrice Cox. She went to Kent Place School in Summit, NJ. She was a Boat Captain, she and her late husband Pierre were together everyday working together for Hatteras and Bertram Yachts. They often worked together of fishing tournaments, they served on the board N.E.R. Former residents of Miami where she was a nurse. They moved to St. Augustine about 25 years ago. She was an active member of the Cathedral-Basilica she was member of choir and travelled with the members to sing in Carnegie Hall.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Craig Funeral Home Chapel.
She is preceded in death by her husband Pierre and daughter; Sandra Usher.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved the ocean. She is survived son, Richard W. Usher.
