Carrie M. Napoli, 84, of St. Augustine, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2013, at the Bailey Family Center for Caring, surrounded by her family. Born and raised in New York City, Carrie lived for many years in Suffern, N.Y., where she worked in food service for the public education system. She retired to St. Augustine in 2003 and was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church and later San Sebastian Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and she will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Anthony Napoli, of St. Augustine; sons, John Napoli, and his wife, June, of Deltona, Fla., and Michael Napoli, and his wife, Eileen, of St. Augustine; a daughter, Grace Stevens, and her husband, Dan, of St. Augustine; grandchildren, Christopher Napoli, Melissa McGraw, Jonathan Napoli, Anthony Napoli, Brianne Pagliardini (Mossimo), Michael Napoli (Shannon), Andrew Napoli, Carrie Pisani (Tom), Danny Stevens (Jessie) and Brian Stevens; and great-grandchildren, Vittoria Pagliardini, Giancarlo Pagliardini, Tommy Pisani, Grace Pisani and Tayor Napoli.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 7, 2013, at San Sebastian Catholic Church, with The Rev. Tom Walsh, officiating. Visitation will take place from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at St. Johns Family Funeral Home. The family would like to thank the staff of the Bailey Family Center for the wonderful care given to Carrie in her last illness. Those wishing can make donations in her memory to the Bailey Center, c/o Community Hospice of NE FL., 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257.
