CJ Manucy Obituary
CJ Manucy, lifelong resident of St. Augustine, Fl, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Vilano Beach on June 22, 2021.
CJ is survived by his wife, Bunny, fur baby, Walnut, sister Linda Rose, children Tami Baker (Scott), Leigh Morrison, Clay Manucy (Ashlie), Cara Shaw (Poncho) and Keely Pierce (Sean). CJ was a proud grandfather & beloved "Poppy/Pop" to many grandchildren: Breigh Corey (Sean), Tia Manucy (David), Renee, Ean Morrison, Mitchell Pierce, Knox Pierce, Silvie & Hank Shaw, and great grandchildren, Cayden, Parker & Avery Manucy, Braiden & Alyssa Smith. He was predeceased by his parents PJ & Sadie, brother Henry Lee, his son Timmy, daughter Terri and grandson Cole Kennedy.
CJ was a proud Menorcan and avid golfer, with a wit that was always on point. He graduated from St. Joseph Academy and was retired from FPL, upon where he took over the family business, Riverside Fish Camp, which fondly became known as "CJ's" Bar on Vilano Beach. He leaves a lifelong legacy in St. Augustine and Vilano Beach.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date by the family.

We are without words as we just found out about your pasting. We been in Vilano fir 2 weeks and we kept saying to each other SOMETHING is WRONG as we talked daily as we walked to the beach and there was a VOID! We were so grateful that we met you and Bunny 15 years ago at the Video Store as we needed to use a phone and Bunny was so GRACIOUS and KIND to help us out.. it was great seeing you everyday watering your plants.. Dear Bunny, Cara and Keely: I just heard about CJ and I am so sorry for all of your great loss. It has been almost 8 years since I said goodbye to Curt and I know the pain you are going through and I am sharing some of that grief and pain with you all right now. I remember the night I performed the wedding ceremony for you two and I knew without a doubt that you two were so in love and would be together until death do you part. I remember CJ and you sending me the yellow roses for that special occasion when I worked for MS&B. I loved you all so much and still do. Please let me know when his services will be as I want to be there or you and his beautiful memory. CJ was always very special to me. He was funny and witty and full of mischief. I will always remember CJ and you all the rest of my life. Love and prayers to all of you. I do want to give you my phone number so you can call me about his services when you schedule them. 824-2540. I love you all so much and am sitting here crying like a baby over the loss of a beautiful, special and loving man. Jeff said he was so sorry for your great loss as well.
