David Johnson Obituary
David W. Johnson, 92, passed away Friday, December 4,2020 after returning home from his morning jog around his neighborhood. A
native and lifelong resident of St. Augustine, he was a graduate of F.S.U. and later owned and operated "DAVID JOHNSONS" on US#1 North in the 60's and later at I95 and 210.
He was a devout Christian and long time member of Destiny Church International.
He is survived by his daughters Sherry (Ollie)Follweiler and Kathy Rudin, brother Walter (Jimmie) Johnson, grandsons Michael (Carmen)and Mark, granddaughter Heather and daughter-in-law Laura Johnson and six great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years Jean and his son Robert.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, December 10th at Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. David Johnson I just found out Mr.Johnson pass away I moved back to Virginia I work for Mr Johnson for years on fixing home up he was such a good man he would go out his way to help u any way he could or anybody else he is well missed he is in heaven now with wife Mr Johnson gave me good advice i and I was there always help him God bless him warren Gilliam Cynthia

A wonderful honest man. He was my first boss. I worked at the original David Johnsons Restaurant and Gift shop on US 1 summers of 1970 and 1971. Fond memories.

David Johnson was always so kind to me in the late '60 when I came to know the Johnson family. A true gentleman, hard worker and provider. I also think he held the land speed record between the City limits and his restaurant on US 1. Rest peacefully.

What a Honor it was to know David Johnson and be a neighbor ..... He was such a gentle and gracious Man ..... always saying hello and asking how we were doing .....
