Eileen R. Mazza, 82, of the Moultrie Oaks Retirement Community in St. Augustine passed away on Jan. 27, 2012, at the Buckingham Smith Assisted Living Facility. She was born in Astoria, N.Y., and had resided in St. Augustine since 1982, moving here from West Islip, N.Y. She worked as a supervisor and manager for Macy"s Department Store in Bayshore, N.Y. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Elkton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Mazza Sr., and a daughter, Donna McCall. She was the loving mother of two sons, Jeff Mazza of Elkton, Peter Mazza Jr. of South Carolina; and a daughter, Debra Mazza of Laurel, Long Island, N.Y. She is also survived by grandchildren, Amy Mazza, Peter C. Mazza, David Mazza, Jason Benati, Michelle Hiller, Vincent J. Mazza, and Patrick McCall; and two great-grandchildren, Ajay and Angelina.
Private services are planned.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to: Buckingham Smith Assisted Living Facility, c/o St. Johns County Welfare Federation, 161 Marine Street, St. Augustine, FL 32084.
St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I smile when I remember the great times both your parents had with my mom and dad. Whether in the Catskill mountains at the Godfather Grumman trips or sitting at their home here with a big antipasto and pasta, they both enjoyed their company. Deb and I send our prayers out to your whole family.
