Funeral services are 6 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2002, at Craig Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at 5 p.m. Monday until the time of the services, and after the services at the home of Merlene and Danny Thomas, 13025 County Road 13 North, Tocoi Creek on the St. Johns River. Burial services are private at Pellicer Creek Cemetery.
Flowers are gratefully declined, however, those wishing may make a contribution in Hank's memory to the Parkinson Foundation, 710 West 168th Street, New York, NY 10032.
Hank is survived by his wife of 50 years, Cecelia "Celie", daughter and son-in-law Merlene N. and Danny Thomas, St. Augustine, sons and daughters-in-law Bruce F. and Suzanne Nelson, Cairo, Egypt, and Brian K. and Debra Nelson, Gainesville. "Grandpa" will be greatly missed by his three grandchildren, Matthew, Justin and Nicole Nelson.
Hank is also survived by brothers and sisters Roger C. Nelson, Marlborough, Mass., and Romeo A. and Katherine Nelson, Maynard, Mass., Ellen Tenney, Gerald and Pat Stevens, Neil and Pam Stevens of St. Augustine, and Bobby and Donna Stevens, Bayou La Batre, Ala.
Craig Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
