Mary "Pixie" McClellan Baxter, 54, of Interlachen, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center in Palatka following an extended illness. She was born in St Augustine and had been a resident of the Interlachen area on and off for the past 21 years.
She was born in Flagler Hospital, St. Augustine, and was a 1978 graduate of St. Augustine High School. She enjoyed making candles and crafts. She bred and raised Yorkshire puppies. She loved her grandchildren and going to the beach, especially Jekyll Island.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Edward McClellan.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Raymond Baxter of Interlachen; her mother, Alice McClellan of Francis; two sons and daughters-in-law, Cory and Brandy Wall of Savannah, Georgia, and Aaron and Holly Wall of Williston; one daughter, Cathlin Baxter of Interlachen; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Chuck and Joanne McClellan of St. Augustine and Jack and Jody McClellan of Ocala; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Kathy and Tommy Squires and Francis and Susie McClellan (Murray) of Valdosta, Ga; and two grandchildren, Alissa and Hanna Wall of Savannah, Ga.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Masters Funeral Home of Interlachen with Pastor Buddy Lynch officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery in Interlachen.

MY CONDOLENCES TO PIXIE'S FAMILY. I KNEW PIXIE MANY YEARS AGO WHEN I STILL LIVED IN ST. AUGUSTINE. HER SISTER SUE WAS A BEST FRIEND OF MINE. SHE WAS TOO YOUNG TO PASS. I HAVE BEEN IN HAWAII FOR THE LAST 17 YRS. AND KNEW NOTHING OF HER ILLNESS. REST IN PEACE PIXIE.
