Ruby Jean Mullins

Ruby Jean Mullins, 71, St. Augustine, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2017, at the home of her daughter after a lengthy illness. She was born in Reedsville, Georgia, daughter of the late John and Nina Mimbs. She had resided in St. Augustine most of her life, moving to St. Augustine at a very young age. She had worked in food service at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind and then later worked at the Days Inn. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family. She was a long time member of Victory Tabernacle.

Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Friday at Victory Tabernacle, 900 Cypress Road., St. Augustine, FL 32086. Interment will follow at Craig Memorial Park.

A visitation will take place from 5-8 p.m. Thursday also at Victory Tabernacle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny C. Mullins, sons, Danny DeWayne and Michael Anthony Mullins, and a grandson, Bradly Kelly McKay.

She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Aucoin (Floyd) and Lorie Mullins McKay (Kevin), both of St. Augustine; grandchildren, Michael Donovan Mullins, Nolan Anthony Mullins, David DeWayne Mullins, Hannah Michelle McKay, Frank Dillon Daniel Mullins, Sandra Colleen Kelly McKay, Kevin Kelly McKay, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Amiyah, Aleigha, Addison, Bradly, Michael, Kaycen, Peyton, Gunner and Makayla.

St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
