Charles Roland Dill Obituary

Mr. Charles Roland Dill, 69, passed away on June 2, 2017 in Birmingham. Mr. Dill was an active Deputy with the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department, a former Ragland Police officer and a retired policeman with Anniston Army Depot. He was a former truck driver with MDS, and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Brenda Lovell Dill; daughter, Kimberly Dill (Chip) Hughes; son, Stephen R. (Rena) Dill; brother, Bill (Kathy) Dill; sisters, Louise Graham, Levalle (Shug) Willingham and Martha (Jimmy) Powell; his precious grandsons, Hunter and Branson Hughes; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service was at 2 pm on Monday, June 5, 2017, at Fairview Baptist Church with Bro. Rick Aldridge, Bro Ted St. John and Bro. Allen Layton officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family received friends Sunday from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Fairview Baptist Church. Condolences may be offered online at www.usreyfuneralhome.com.
