Mr. John Edward Herren

PELL CITY - Funeral service for Mr. John Edward Herren, 67, will be 12 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30 at Hardin's Chapel Bible Church with the Rev. Doug Ford and the Rev. Herman Cowan officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Mr. Herren died Monday, Sept. 27, 2010 in Birmingham. Mr. Herren had a combined service of 37 years in the US Marine Corps and Civil Service. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, John E. Herren; and by two sisters, Pat Salmonsen and Nancy Herren Turbville. Survivors are his wife of 15 years, Melissa Herren; mother, Mary Echols; children, Keith (Roslie) Herren, Todd (Pam) Herren, Mark (Nancy) Herren, Rhonda (Roger) Stewart, Dionne (Ronnie) Campbell, Barry (Angie) Hazelwood, Tony (Tammy) Hazelwood; sisters, Linda Cusick and Mary Ann Easterwood; brothers, Frank Herren and Albert Herren; grandchildren, Amanda, Samantha, Kyle, Tyler, John Cole, Jason, Hunter, Logan (Tina), Reagan, Dakota, Makenzie, Montana, Cameron and Shyann; and great-grandchild, Cooper. He touched the lives of all who knew him and we will miss him dearly.
