A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 26, 2021 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Junction City with Father Packi officiating. The service will be live streamed online at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhome. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm with the Knights of Columbus leading a rosary at 7:00 pm on Sunday, April 25 at Martens/Rembs Funeral Home, Junction City.

Andrew was born on May 30, 1929 at home in the town of Carson to Joseph H. and Ludmilla "Tillie" (Bandur) Mallek. He attended St. Michael's Catholic School and graduated from 8th grade. He was united in marriage to Agnes Stanislawski on November 24, 1956 at St. Adalbert's Catholic Church in Rosholt. Andrew's main hobby was spending time with his family. He took pride in everything that had to do with his family. Family was very important to him.

Andrew and Agnes formed the Junction City Golden Stars 4H Club 45 years ago and are still the club's leaders. Andrew was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council.

He is survived by his wife, Agnes, 13 children, Mary Ann Mallek-Kuklinski of Junction City, Michael Mallek (Tammy) of Hamilton, KS, Cindy (Jerry) Sikorski of Stevens Point, Carol (Bart) Adams of Plover, Dan (Jill) Mallek of Clarendon Hills, IL, Jean (Gary) Zagrzebski of Mosinee, John Mallek of Junction City, Darlene (Kevin) Weinfurter of Junction City, Andrew Ronald Mallek of Junction City, Nancy (Chuck) Glodowski of Stevens Point, Rose (Joe) Sweet of Beverly Hills, FL, Kevin (Saeng) Mallek of Colorado Springs, CO, and Amanda (Paul) Kieleszewski of Plover, 34 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
