I was deeply in love with Chuck in 1976. Knew him years before that as a friend. I still think about him. He was magic.

Wow, Chuckles, I just found out you're gone. Haven't seen you in 20 years but often thought about you with a smile on my face. Rest in Peace. You were one of a kind, my friend. Sad you left too soon.

Someone told me that Chuck had died. Seems the good do die young. I knew Chuck years ago. I'm glad so many people responded here, he was a champ of guy. Best wishes to the family.

I moved to Point in 1969 and met Chuck at P,J's, one lost and troubled teen. He embraced me and told me he would always be there to protect me and he was. So sad to hear of his passing. Sounds like he continued to be the friend to many as he was to me. What a testimony to who you were and will be remembered as to so many.

Chuck, you have bought together the sensitive, creative enlightened friends from out of the shadows.(pat houlihan, pat carne etc, etc)It is wonderful to see so many names honoring you who were there growing up with us, and many whom impacted my own life in some way or another. thanks you all for being part of that "counterculture" that existed for a time in stevens point history. Chuck-ye ol'philosopher- was always at the center of it. So happy to see names who i had forgotten, and are still kickn, carry on the good fight.

So pleased I got to meet Chuck for the first time several weeks ago. Drove Sean Houlihan out to Indian Crossing Casino to see his brother play. He ran into his good friend, Chuck. All I can say is one of the nicest people I ever met. Looked forward to getting to know him and maybe hiring him.
Pleased Sean and Chuck got to catch up before this happened. My heart breaks...I only knew him for a little while but I know he left a huge mark on the world and deeply touched many lives. Sincere condolences to family and friends. What a great guy...

I remember meeting Chuck along with friends at least 40 years ago. Chuck was always quick with a smile and a sincere, warm "How are you doing?" He'd really want to listen. One of those rare folks who always had something to make your day a little brighter and who'd always leave you with a smile in your attitude. We all will miss Chuck.

I still remember Chuck showing my brother and me how brightly magnesium ribbon burns out on Casimir Road--probably got a piece from chemistry class at Campus School--and warning us not to look directly at it (or we would have for sure). Shared many a laugh with Chuck--he was a good thinker, smart, inquisitive, creative, very witty, and a joy to be around. I knew Steve and Phil too--wonderful family! May you find some solace in remembering Chuck's positive contributions to all our lives.

My heart goes out to the Albertson Family.Chuck was my friend, for over 45 yrs.I first meet him in the late summer of 1967.He was walking down Linwood,in Park Ridge, looking for their dog. I asked him if he would like some help.and he said u bet.And that was the begining,of a long friendship. I'll remember the fun times in Madison, the Proms we went to in High School, the trip we took to get a job at American Motors in Ktown, the camping at Sunset Lake, the good times at Partner's Pub. The list can go on and on. When I lost my Father,I stopped off at Partners to have a beer, and he was there doing some work.He stopped what he was doing,to sit down and have a brewski with me,and to see how I was doing. We sat down and he put his arm around me and never said much, but I new he was hurting as much as I was cause I could feel the hurt coming thru him, into me.Cause if you don't know,we both lost our Dad's the same way.So he knew the hurt that I was feeling and I felt his,and there really wasn't any need for words. He was just a really great friend. Love you Bro,till we see each other again,PEACE

Chuck was a new friend to our family. We called him to do some drywall work for us and it ended up he replaced all the interior doors and storm doors in our house. He was just in our home on Thursday helping us plan our new kitchen remodel. We are so sorry for his loss. He was a warm, talented, and gifted man.

Where do I start? I knew you for over 40 yrs . From the first time in High School to just talking to you a couple weeks ago. You were my late brother's best friend, Lenny's. You were there to always give me a laugh or Lenny's right guard men for his little sister...me. You helped me through Lenny's death, and said you would always be there for me, and you were. The last time you talked to me you said to me was "Keep trucking on", and that I will ...till we meet again..

Chuck you will be missed. Talk about a man who was full of love, sweetness, and smart as a tack. For those of us who grew up with Chuck, and knew the Albertson family, we were lucky. His father was a man with a vision, as was his son. Shine on Chuck!!!!
