Deborah J Kaczmarek

Deborah (Deb) J. Kaczmarek, age 58, of Stevens Point, went to join her parents and her brother in Heaven while surrounded by her family on October 24, 2012 at the Portage County Health Care Center while under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice, after a courageous one year battle with Inflammatory Breast Cancer.

Deborah was born February 21, 1954 to the late Jerome & Patricia (Peplinski) Kaczmarek in Stevens Point.

She grew up in Stevens Point, attended St. Peter's grade school, and graduated from Pacelli High School in 1972.

In her earlier years, Deborah worked at Triangle Grocery Store and D. Smalley Fashions in sales. She later worked in property management.

Deborah will be remembered for her sense of humor, and caring and loving nature. She was considered to be a saint or "Mother Hen" by her friends and family by always putting others first. She enjoyed spending time with her family; and truly loved spending time with her great nieces and nephews. Deborah was a faithful member at St. Peter's Catholic Church and was an active member of St. Peter's Rosary Society. In her spare time she enjoyed shopping, baking, flower gardening, spending time with her dogs, and collecting rosaries and religious artifacts such as prayer books.

Survivors include her brothers, Paul (Patty) Kaczmarek of Stevens Point, Kevin (Bonnie) Kaczmarek of Stevens Point, Tim (Nancy) Kaczmarek of Stevens Point; sister, Mary Kaczmarek of Stevens Point; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and her loving companion Shadow.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jerry.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30am, Friday October 26, 2012 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Stevens Point, with Rev. Arul Joseph Visuvasam officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Boston Funeral home with a rosary prayed at 7:00pm by the St Peter Rosary Society. Visitation will also be held on Friday from 9:30am until time of service at the church.

Honorary Pallbearers include; Mike Kaczmarek, Andy Kaczmarek, Keven Kaczmarek Jr., Aaron Kaczmarek, Forrest Thorson, Robert Langlois, and Vincent Langlois.
