James "Jim" Kropidlowski, age 80, died early Tuesday morning, January 10, 2017, at the Atrium Care Center in Stevens Point. He was born September 6, 1936, in Amherst, WI, and was the son of Henry and Irene Kropidlowski. He attended the local schools, graduating from P. J. Jacobs High School in l954.

Assistant scoutmaster, chairman of numerous fund raising activities to benefit the scouts, and many other similar projects. Jim was a member of the Order of the Arrow. He was President of the Holy Spirit Parish Holy Name Society, sponsoring organization of the boy scouts. In this capacity, he served for years as the chairman of the Holy Name Steak Feed, a fund raising event held every year. Jim was a charter member of the Izaak Walton League for over 50 years.

Steve, Kris, and Family,

We are saddened by the loss of your father and will miss this wonderful man. He was so good-natured, full of light, kindness, and humor. An encounter with him was always so good. On top of it all, he knew how to put together a tasty soup.

Our thoughts are with you. Best,
David and Elaine Wrone
