Jean Goretski Obituary
Bancroft - Jean E. Goretski, age 73, of Bancroft, passed away Tuesday evening, April 17, 2018 at St. Michael Hospital in Stevens Point while surrounded by family.
She was born July 8, 1944 in Stevens Point the daughter of Vern and Verna (Beggs) Clark. She married Gary J. Goretski on September 9, 1978 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Plainfield.
Jean was a 1962 graduate of Tri-County High School. She was a fun-loving lady who enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, traveling, cooking, baking and quilting. Anyone who knew Jean knew that her greatest joy in life was making others happy and supporting all those she loved. Jean's affectionate smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Plainfield.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gary J. Goretski, Bancroft; her children, Jay (Wendy) Goman, Plainfield, Amanda (Jake) Pryne, Wisconsin Rapids, Felicia (Matthew) Glodowski, Weyauwega; her grandchildren Ashton (Mike) Gebert, Kurt (Cindy) Goman, Jared Goman, Connor Goman, Kameron Pryne, Hayden Pryne and Gaven Glodowski; great grandchildren, Ellyn and Callie Gebert; her brother and sister, Mary (Pat) Lauer, Lois (Richard) Swiontek, Dale (Mary) Clark, Donna Terry, Jim (Christine) Clark; brother-in-law, Raymond Petrusky; further survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Donnie and Vern Goman; her parents and sister, Anita Petrusky.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 12:00 noon at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Plainfield with Rev. Andrew Kurz and Deacon Jim Trzinski officiating. Burial will be in the Plainfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
