Jennie Justmann

Junction City - Jennie J. Justmann, age 89, of Junction City and formerly of Waupaca, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021. She was born on October 15, 1931 in Tomah, WI to Arthur and Sadie (Gallarno) Day. She was united in marriage to Harold Werther and blessed with five sons. He preceded her in death in 1976. On October 27, 1978, she married Andrae Justmann and together raised their 10 children. Jennie was a member of Immanual Ev. Lutheran Church in Waupaca. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed a variety of music, loved her pets, and was an excellent cook and baker. She and Andy enjoyed traveling, especially to Europe. Most of all, she was a loving mother and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her children: Thomas (Belinda) Werther of Junction City, David (JoAnn) Werther of Mapleton, Douglas (Lynn) Werther of Hartland, John (Sherri) Werther of Abingdon MD, and Mark (Barb) Werther of Beaver Dam; step-children: Charles (Anne) Justmann of Waupaca, Thomas Justmann of Waupaca, Richard (Jenni) Justmann of Atlanta GA, David (Linda) Justmann of Somerset and Bethel Justmann of Neenah. Jennie is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two sisters: Carol Tallant of OK and Ruby Jerdee of FL, special friend, Vickie Justmann, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Werther (1976), and second husband, Andrae Justmann (2017).

The funeral service was held Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, 1120 Evans St., Waupaca, with Pastor Ron Siemers officiating. Visitation was held Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Committal service and entombment was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
