Margaret Megal Obituary
Custer - Margaret A. "Marge" (Wysocki) Megal, age 92 formerly of Custer passed away Sunday morning October 28, 2018 at The Lodge in Plover.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Marge will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday November 2, 2018 at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Parish in Custer. Rev. Greg Michaud will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Friday until the time of service at the church. Burial is in the parish cemetery. Shuda Funeral Service is assisting the family.
Marge was born September 23, 1926, the daughter of Eugene & Veronica (Kruzitski) Wysocki. Margaret married Hubert R. Megal on October 4, 1947. They lived in Milwaukee after they married, then moved back to the Custer area in Early 1960's. Hubert passed away November 29, 1998. They celebrated 51 years of marriage. Marge has been a resident of Whispering Pines, "The Lodge" since February 11, 2013.
Marge loved gardening & tending her many flowers. She made rugs for 42 years on her loom. She loved playing cards, crocheting & Ponczka making. Her cooking & baking skills were always looked forward to & enjoyed when the family got together. She was also active in the Altar Society at St Mary's Immaculate Conception Parish in Custer. Marge was an avid Milwaukee Brewers baseball fan!
Survivors include her siblings; Don (Rita) Wysocki, Arlene Smith, Helen Basinski, in-laws, Elizabeth Wysocki, Lottie Wysocki, Gerald Basinski, Violet Repinski, Mary Ann (Lee) Ryczek, James (Lorraine) Megal, Anita Jacowski, Larry (Annette) Megal, Carl (Ginger) Megal along with numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Hubert, brothers Edmund, John, Stanley & infant brothers, Raymond, Joseph & Anthony. In-laws Ethel Wysocki, John & Emma Megal, Carl Repinski & Gregory Jacowski.
