Mary Ann E. Jakusz
Of Stevens Point died late Saturday evening June 18, 2016 at her home after fighting a very courageous battle with MS for many years.
Age 74 Mary Ann was born January 5, 1942 in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of the late Victor and Lucy (Fillip) Pliska. She attended local grade schools and graduated from Maria High School.
Her marriage to John Jakusz took place on August 24, 1963 at ST. Peters Catholic Church. Her husband John survives.
Mary Ann enjoyed flowers and gardening and loved painting ceramics.
Survivors include her husband John, one daughter Brenda Betro of Plover and one son James Jakusz of Stevens Pont. Three grandchildren Alexandrea, Lucas and Mackenzie and one great granddaughter Tinley. Further survived by one sister Dorothy Repinski of Stevens Point.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by three brothers.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Rev. Arul Joseph Visuvasam officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 9:30 A.M. Wednesday at the St. Faustina Room of St. Peters Church until the time for mass. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.pisarskifuneralhome.
