Mike,
Sorry to hear of your mothers passing. I last saw your parents at my dad's funeral back in 1990. Before that I hadn't seen them in a long time.
My sister Tammy has recently posted some old photos of our family's back in the early 70's on her Facebook page, nice memories.
A few weeks later I came across your mom's obit. I hope you and your kids are doing well.
Take care,
Todd Worzella

I finally got to read this beautiful work honoring beautiful Maxine. David and Mike....thank you. Your mother would be so honored. And, your words show your love. Oh, my wonderful aunt...I am so lucky I had her in my life.

My sympathies and best wishes to Maxine's family on the passing of this wonderful person. She brought a great deal of light and enlightenment to so many people in Central Wisconsin and elsewhere. I well recall working with her on a few projects, including her wish to establish the Lee Burress International Scholarship for a UWSP student studying abroad in London. She was a joy and privilege to have known (and the same goes for Lee). Unfortunately, I will be out of town for the memorial service but I sure it will be well attended because Maxine was loved and appreciated by so many.

Maxine was always a guiding beacon of good sense and inner light. Her friendship to our family meant an enormous amount. I have so many fond memories of dinner around the table in Stevens Point with Lee and Maxine... she was a marvel. My sincere condolences for your loss and may Maxine's light continue to shine in your hearts.
