Richard Werachowski Obituary
Richard (Rick) Werachowski, age 62, died unexpectedly at his home in Birchwood, Sawyer Co., WI, on Saturday, May 30, 2015.
He was born Nov.6, 1952, in Stevens Point, WI. His parents are Ronald and Ruth Werachowski of Stevens Point. He attended local schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School. He joined the Army and served in Vietnam. While in service he married Marilyn Bluma, at Fort Campbell, KY. After discharge they returned to WI. They had one child, a son, Eric Richard, born Dec.22, 1973. Rick was employed as a mechanic at various dealerships, most recently at Cifaldi Motors in Cumberland, WI.
He is survived by his parents, two brothers, Tony (Bonnie) and Jeff (Deb) and three sisters, Judy (Charlie) Sankey, Michele (Walter) Bieniewski, and Lisa (Jerome) Firkus.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Michael.
A Memorial mass will be held at a later date. A Private burial will be at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Washburn Co, WI.
Bratley Funeral Service in Hayward, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
