Rosemarie C. Kaehn

Rosemarie C. Kaehn, age 75, of Plover, died peacefully Nov. 8, 2014.

Rosemarie was born January 6, 1939 to the late Carl and Cecil (Parks) Aldrich in Stevens Point, WI. She grew up here, attended the local grade schools, and graduate from P.J. Jacobs High School.

She married Glenn Kaehn. While married, Rosemarie travel and live in various areas before resettling in Plover, WI. They later divorced.

Rosemarie worked for Basic American Foods and retired after 26 years.

Rosemarie will be remembered for her love of family. She relished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed nature and was an avid bird watcher. Rosemarie enjoyed the companionship of her cocker spaniels. In her earlier years, she liked to bowl and play softball. Rosemarie was a die-hard Packer fan, and loved to cheer them on whenever they played.

Survivors include her children, Kathy (Todd) Meyer of Plover, Brian Kaehn of Stevens Point, Karen Kaehn of Stevens Point, and Bill (Sue) Kaehn of Albany, NY; grandchildren, Adam Fletcher of Plover, Nikki (Jude) Nellessen of Stevens Point, and Daniel Kaehn of Ellicott City, MD; and great grandchildren, Benjamin and Aubrey Nellessen. She is also survived by her siblings, Audrey (Fabian) Zukowski of IL, Marvin (Judy) Aldrich of Milwaukee, and Virginia Hoppa, of Wild Rose.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jean Grant & May Wojtalewcz; and brothers, Carl Aldrich and Lee Aldrich.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014 at Boston Funeral Home with Rev. David E. Ficken officiating. Visitation will precede the funeral from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will take place at a later date in Meehan Cemetery.

Sorry to read of Rosie's death. She was SUCH a wonderful co-worker when we worked together at Basic American Foods, back in the late 70's/early 80's. We had lots of laughs and good times together then. My sympathy to all of you children.
