Betsy Carlson Obituary
Betsy was born July 19,1975 in Minneapolis, MN to Pam and Wayne Carlson. She grew up in Stillwater, MN. She graduated from Augsburg and University of Chicago. After graduating, she worked for nearly twenty years for at-risk youth and those experiencing homelessness.
Betsy is survived by her partner Vaughn Beckford; parents Pam and Wayne Carlson; sister Lisa Sackreiter (Andy); sister Britt Gangeness (Bjorn); brother Erik Carlson (Katie); nephews Soren, Kai, Henrik, Karl, and Emmet; niece Maeve; dog Irie and cat Oscar.
A Service of Remembrance will be held November 22, 2025. Visitation at 12:00 p.m. and service at 1 p.m. at Living Waters Lutheran Church, 865 Birch St., Lino Lakes, MN 55014. Live-stream link found at http:\\livingwaterslino.church.
Memorials can be directed to the Chicago Coalition to End Homelessness or the Chicago Botanic Garden.
