The family of JoAnn Plumhoff shares that she has passed on to be with those she greatly missed. JoAnn was born to Alex and Myrtle Schultz on October28, 1933 and died September 28, 2020. She was one of nine children who went on to have seven children of her own with the love of her life, Bud. JoAnn graduated from Wells High school in 1951 and went on to nursing school, graduating from St. Catherine's in 1954 with a registered nursing degree. She was employed as a nurse for many years, both in Mankato and St. James, and was really great at what she did. Her greatest accomplishment was birthing and raising seven children. In addition to that large undertaking, she managed to find time for hobbies; she loved to sew (kept her girls in clothes until they graduated high school), made countless quilts, enjoyed knitting, crocheting, antiquing and loved decorating for the holidays.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband Bud; daughter Mary; son Ted; grandson Daniel; parents; brothers Dick and Denny; and sister Patsy. She is survived by sisters Maxine and Elaine; brothers Bob and Tom; as well as children Don (Christina), Julie, Jane (Brad), Joe, John (Brenda); 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Condolences may be sent to John Plumhoff, 6368 Pineview Ln. N., Maple Grove, MN, 55369.
