I knew Lawrence and Ruth in the late 60s and early 70s my dad was the DHIA tester and once a month a evening sample and morning sample of each of cow. I took those sample several times and always enjoyed doing that. I remember the Haler had hogs in their dairy barn which I found interesting. Hearing pigs in a barn with cows was not the norm.
Both Lawrence and Ruth treated me very well and Ruth fixed me breakfast a time or two.
Often when I drive on the 4 lane highway, I look to the north and east of the airport see the barn located on the Haler farm.
Looks like Lawrence and Ruth have lived a long life together. It truly was a family farm as Ruth was a big part of the farm operation along with Lawrence.
Thanks for the great memories
