Alissa Calkins Obituary
Alissa had reached the age of 9 years.
Alissa loved Barbie Dolls and creating scenes and stories with all her dolls and stuffed animals. She had a creative mind, liked to teach anyone that would listen, and always loved to joke around with a whimsical spirit. Alissa loved playing chess with her Daddy, and with her grandparents or anyone who was willing to sit and play, she also enjoyed gymnastics, and singing in the church choir.
Alissa was a Princess, full of love and joy that she shared with everyone. She just loved her family and spending time with them.
Those who will remain grateful for having shared in Alissa's life are her loving parents, Kurt and Lisa; her cherished grandparents, Rev., Dr. Kurt and Anna Calkins; Sharon Silverstein and the late William Silverstein; and her dear aunt Heather Stuteville. Many other family members and friends. She was a dear niece, cousin and friend to many, she will be missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life visitation for Alissa will be held from 11:00am -1:00pm on Saturday, November 23, 2024, with a 1:00pm Celebration of Life service to immediately follow at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles, MO 63304. Online condolences may be made at hutchensfuneralhomes.com.
