Ann Patrick Ware

Ware, Ann Patrick SL Entered into eternal life Feb. 23, 2013, after 72 years as a Sister of Loretto. Sister Ann Patrick, who grew up in St. Louis, was head of the theology department at Webster College (University) in the 1960s and also taught at the University of North Dakota. She had degrees in Latin and theology, including a degree in religious studies from Regina Mundi in Rome. She worked with the National Council of Churches and Church Women United in New York City for 30 years before moving to St. Louis Loretto Center in 1998 where she continued part-time work with the Loretto Finance Office. Services: Memorial services will be Monday, March 18, 5:30 p.m., and a memorial Mass Tuesday, March 19, 9 a.m., at Loretto Center, 590 E. Lockwood Avenue, Webster Groves. Memorial gifts may be made to Sisters of Loretto at the same address.
