Aunt Sue was the best aunt ever! She always showed such enthusiastic interest in me as if I were the only one there. She told stories, prepared me for life, and shared whatever she was involved in at the time. And she was involved!!! She baked and decorated cakes, sewed not only clothes, but decorated her home with her sewing machine. She had a lovely voice which she used professionally, but mostly she shared her talents to make others happy. She performed magic, gave presentations at schools, worked with the after-school program, played her guitar, and sponsored many a person struggling in AA related programs. And through it all, Uncle Rich was her most loyal supporter. They had their share of ups and downs, but always came through them together. Ant Sue fought for modesty in her own back yard and up the street at the Quick Trip. She preached chastity to the local schools and just a few years ago I ran into her at a pregnancy center fundraiser.
I was blessed to have her as my godmother and will miss her greatly. When recently praying at her bedside, she surprised me and finished the last words of the Hail Mary. That was the last time I heard her sweet voice. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord, and let perpetual Light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.

I took guitar lessons back in the 70's from this incredible woman. She was so talented. It warmed my heart to see she shared a birthday with my first born son and that she went home to be with the Lord on my 60th birthday. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.
