Beaul Haynes

Haynes, Beaul passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013. He was killed after he was involved in a multivehicle accident on I-270. He was 71. Beaul graduated from Langston University with a degree in Chemistry and worked at Monsanto for 25 years as a chemical engineer and plant supervisor. He was involved in many groundbreaking projects, including the development of the popular herbicide Roundup. Beaul retired from Monsanto in 1993 but came out of retirement to work at Stellar Manufacturing plant. He was a supervisor there for 15 years. Beaul also proudly served his country in the Marines and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was also a huge sports fan. His favorite teams were the St. Louis Cardinals and Oklahoma Thunder. He also loved to travel and recently returned from a trip to Germany. Beaul is survived by two loving daughters, Robin (Mark) DeMay and Jennifer Haynes, two granddaughters Alina and Lauren DeMay and his soul-mate Mary Davidson. Services: Procession from BOPP Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd., Kirkwood, Fri, Jan 11, 10 a.m, to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, for 11 a.m. graveside service. Visitation will be later in the day Friday, from 5:30-7 p.m. at Bopp, followed by a memorial service at 7 p.m. Beaul leaves this world much too soon. He was known for his gregarious personality, zest for life and quick wit. And to use his favorite quote, his unexpected death, makes no damn sense!
