So very sorry, what a shock and loss, it saddened us deeply when we heard the news of Brad's death.
The Veatch family, as owner's of Carousel International Company in Eldon, gave employment to many, including myself, part time, for eight years and our two daughters, Tina Pryor Matzen and Toni Pryor Alvarez, with summer jobs during the 1980's & early 1990's. We three have discussed often, that there was never a finer family to work for. I then, furthered a bond by working with he and his wife, Lisa, also an accomplished agent, in selling real estate in Eldon. Our memories of Brad will be that he was blessed with a natural flowing magnetic charm, had class, always knew you no matter where he saw you and had a warm heart as big as New York City. Brad was a good man. He will be missed by his many friends like Max and the three "Pryor girls".
Our most sincerest thoughts go to Steven, Lisa, Logan, Luke, Kate and the rest of his family.
Max and Carolyn Pryor, Wildwood, MO

My family has known the Veatch family for a long time, and Brad was my swim coach at Mackenzie pool in the early 80's. I can't count the number of times he would quote a song title from the Rocky movies and say "Remember, Eye of The Tiger, Nolan!" right before my races would start, and right before he threw me into the pool for swim practice at 7:30am! I still, and will always, think of him and smile when I hear that song by Survivor.

Brad was my first "boss", as President, when I was hired by the Eldon Chamber of Commerce and remained a professional friend and confidante through his service on the Eldon City Council. Such a brilliant and charming individual - he probably would have exactly the right words for a time like this. A great loss of talent to our community.

Brad,
I met you when you & Lisa started dating through her brother, Gary. I didn't know you well, but you always stopped to say "hello" when I'd see you in town. You were so young, intelligent, well educated, had a beautiful family and were loved and admired by many. Your passing comes as such a shock and brings much sadness. As you journey from this life to the next, know that you will be deeply missed and never forgotten by those you left behind.
