Hoffman, Brenda Lucille Loretta
81, passed on August 21, 2021 from pancreatic cancer at her home in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born on December 27, 1939 to Robert and Martha Berger. Brenda graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a B.S. in Education and was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority. She taught English and History in Denver and St. Louis, volunteered as a Scout leader, and taught English as a Second Language. She was an accomplished organist and pianist and sang with several choral groups. Brenda was a Life Master in bridge and had a hole in one at Bonita Bay, her Florida home. She leaves her husband of 58 years, Ralph; children Julie Gaidis (John Vellacott), Elizabeth Who (Fred), Stacey Hoffman (Rob Harper), and Jeffrey Hoffman (Shari Chavez); sister Marilyn Ladd; six grandchildren Wolf, Isabella, Jack, Lily, Max, and Humboldt; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded by brother Robert "Bob" Berger.
Services: In consideration of friends' and loved ones' safety during the pandemic, a memorial may be held at a later date.
