I knew Brooks in high school. She was stunningly beautiful. Moreover, her beauty shone from the inside out. I would've enjoyed spending more time with her, but she was head over heels in love with Sanjay and spent every moment she could with him. I was so happy to hear that they had married. I was friends with his sister Monica, so I knew that he only had eyes for her. I am so deeply sad to learn of her passing. Brooks and Sanjay were a fairy tale romance. My heart goes out to you all.

Sanjay - I was shocked and devastated to hear about Brooks. My heart goes out to you and the kids and to Mark, Monica, Neena, and your mom. Brooks was the epitome of all that is good; she was kind, friendly, smart, and a joy to be around. I know it's a cliche, but the world was truly a better place with her in it. So wish I could be there today to pay my respects in person, but know I am thinking of you all.

Dear Sanjay,
Lee and I are so sorry to learn of a Brooks passing.
We send you are deepest condolences and a poem that' I hope will bring some comfort.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
