Carlotta Borgard Obituary
Borgard, Carlotta Jean
(nee Tumminia) - December 24, 1944 - August 15, 2022.
"Carla" peacefully passed away surrounded by her family last Monday. Adored wife of 56 years to Michael Borgard, Sr. and beloved mother of Michael Jr., Brett and Carlyn McClintock (Scott). Cherished grandmother to Anna Borgard, Maggie Borgard, Hayes McClintock and Rose McClintock. Precious sister to Ernie Tumminia (Susan) and Kathy Tholen (David). Preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Mary Tumminia.
Carla was an icon of the real estate industry with Gundaker Realtors for over 44 years, primarily in Town and Country where she and her family resided. She was a dedicated, energetic woman who never met a stranger. Her home was party central---always open for a cocktail, a meal or a place to stay. She lovingly maintained her friendships with her gals from St. Joseph's Academy. Carla and Mike were world travelers and always made new friends along the way. She was a huge presence in her community and will be missed by all.
Services: Service is Saturday, August 27th at Priory St. Anselm Parish. The Borgard family will begin receiving their friends at 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:40 a.m. when the bells toll. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Ronald McDonald House.

Aunt Carla was always ready to throw a great party. She loved getting together and being social, and she was good at it! She showed her love to her family through her meals and her time spent talking and having fun with them. Her laugh and her “Oh my Gawd!” will be in my mind always. I love you, Carla. You will be dearly missed, and each time we visit, there will be a hole that will remain unfilled. ❤ Praying for the family.

Condolences to the entire Borgard Family. We became friends when our Daughters went to St Joe's Academy together and Carla invited me to join her Creve Coeur Gundaker Office back in 1989.
