Beloved husband of Dolores 'Dee' Rector (nee Stratton); loving father of Sue (Jim) Fowler, Joe (Jean), Mike, Dan and the late Laurie Anne; gramps of 15 and great-gramps of 12; brother of Bob (Janet) and the late June Boschert. Carol retired from a career in the Navy and also retired from the St Louis School District as an electrician. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Dardenne Prairie Catholic Church.
Services: A private family Mass and interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors. Masses preferred or memorials to St. Vincent De Paul Society Immaculate Conception Parish in Dardenne Prairie. www.hutchensfuneralhomes.com

I worked with Carol at St.Louis Public Schools. He taught me a lot and I thank him for being a great person. He was such a kind soul. It was a honor to work with him. God bless him
