Charles A. Heimann

Heimann, Charles A. 85, of St Louis County passed away Aug. 19, 2013. Charlie was born August 10, 1928 to Charles E and Katherine (Fix) Heimann. A Beaumont High School graduate, where it was proclaimed, Charlie Heimann will make his gains by working on aero planes. That prophesy came true, working for McDonnell Aircraft Company/ Boeing for 40 years. He was a founding member of the MAC Rod & Gun Club. Shooting trap and skeet, hunting and fishing were the hobbies that he pursued lifelong. On his 85th birthday he was presented with the 2013 Top Gun Award from the Boeing Employees' Clay Target Club. He was a member of Lutheran Church of the Atonement. Charlie was preceded in death by his wife Shirleen (Schulte) in 2003, following 53 years of marriage. He is survived by daughter Kathleen and son in law Michael Knapp of Joplin, and two grandsons, Bradley Knapp of Conway Arkansas and Spencer Knapp of Dallas Texas. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Charles A. Heimann Memorial Fund at Gateway Gun Club which will support AIM, the youth shooting group of the Amateur Trap Association. Services: Visitation will be Wed. Aug. 21, 2013, 6 È 8 p.m. at Hutchens Mortuary. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Thurs. Aug. 22, 2013 at Lutheran Church of the Atonement followed by burial at Bellerive Cemetery.
