Condon, Clare T.
a formidable yet sprightly spirit with a zest for life, passed away peacefully at 96 on November 2, 2021. She is predeceased by her son, Jim Condon, formerly of Watertown, MA and her six siblings. She is survived by her former husband, Chris Condon, New Rochelle, NY, daughter Kathleen Condon and her husband Rick Luftglass, Brooklyn, NY, daughter-in-law Susan Robertson, Watertown, MA and daughter Ann Gallagher and her husband Ron May, San Diego, CA.
Friends and students will remember Clare as a gifted folksinger, watercolorist and art teacher. Clare's life-long love of learning developed into many interests. She hosted "A Number of Things" radio program at St. Louis' KFUO radio station, sang at many community events including Ste. Genevieve's Jour de Fete and was once the featured covered artist on the Missouri AAA Magazine cover (Missouri wildflowers). She lived and participated in community events in Webster Groves, DeSoto, and Ste. Genevieve.
Services: St. Mary's Catholic Church, Uxbridge, MA, Saturday, April 23, 2022, 10 AM Mass and reception. In lieu of flowers, donations in Clare's memory may be made to United Hebrew Geriatric Center, https://unitedhebrewgeriatric.org. To leave a condolence message for her family please visit:
