To the Brennan Family,

So terribly sorry to hear about Dave.
I had the privlege of knowing and working with him at CBS Radio and we shared many laughs and hijinks together.
A class guy and I'll always remember him as one of the best men I worked with.

My deepest sympathy to the Brennan familly. Your Dad was the kindest, most gracious gentleman as I began my career in media planning/buying more than 30 years ago! I learned that being respectful and kind COULD work in business, and count Dave among those I respected most from those early years. God has added a great one to His heaven!!!!

Dear Mrs. Brennan, Michael, and the Brennan Family,

I was sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Brennan. I recalled his deep prescence when I visited your home back in High School. I rememder distinctly when he reminisced of his friendship with my grandfather, Bill McGoogan. God Bless you all during this time of sorrow.

How sorry we are that we could not express our thoughts about David in person, as we are out of town. I was called by one of our old KMOX alums with the news about David's passing.

"Davey" was beloved by the media and marketing community. He and I worked closely as I started at KMOX Radio in 1977 as national sales manager. Dave helped pave the way as this was the first time KMOX ever had someone to work with the CBS National rep.

Kathy and I have many great memories of fun at Polo Drive. There was ALWAYS something going on! Dave was also a big help with the V.P. always ready to lend a hand.

Most of all, I treasure our lunches at Anthony's. He was one of the most fun people to be around, but he was also an astute business man.

So we will toast you, "The Senator," with a Jameson Irish Whiskey and remember, "The Rep is not a Toy!"

Our deepest condolences and prayers go out to Lady Alice and all of Davey's wonderful family.

With fondness, Bob and Kathy Fulstone

Dear David and Alice Brennan Family,

God bless you all in this time of loss. I have so many wonderful childhood memories of Family Christmas Parties at the old house. Laughter, family sprit, deep care, and tons of fun. Uncle Dave (and Aunt Alice!) was always gracious to us, loving, and kind. One of my favorite things to quote was Uncle Dave's version of Psalm 23, which held residence on a poster in the bar near the kitchen. "Yea..though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil...and well...you know the rest."

God bless you Uncle Dave. I'm sure it's a glorious reunion with Frank, Eunie, Bill, your parents and good old friends who have gone before you.

God bless you Aunt Alice and all my cousins. May grace wrap you in warmth and ease your heart.

Our prayers are with you,

David Kauffman (and Missy, Cameron, and Mia)

My heart aches for the entire Brennan Family. Mr. B was an amazing, loving and caring person and will be missed by many.

I will always remember going to the Brennan's to hang out with Mary and Mr. B would ALWAYS greet me with his amazing smile and "Hi kid, how are ya?

My thoughts and prayers to you all during this time of need!

Please accept my condolences on the death of your husband and father. His death is heartbreaking. I am sure the world will seem a lesser place without David in it.

His personality, spirit and love show through in his photographs. I regret I will never have the opportunity to meet him in person. But, I am sure, when I look at Alice, I will always be seeing a part of him.

I wish I had words that could make your pain less. But the least I can do is let you know my thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends as you grieve.

In sympathy,

Jane, Adam, John and I are thinking of all of the Brennans and remembering the fun we had on Polo Drive. Special hugs to Maggie and Zak. My father passed away on Sunday, so maybe he'll catch up with Dave. My thought for all of you are: what a life, what a husband and what a dad! Much love.

I have been thinking about you all what seems like every minute of every day this week. What a great man your dad was, I just adored him, as you know! I keep thinking of more and more old memories…countless hours spent hanging at Polo Drive…sneaking out of my house and my parents finding me at yours...your dad always asking me if I was going to miss my curfew….your dad yelling at my dad to "SPEAK UP" during his speech at his retirement party...so many great memories, and I cherish each of them, and each of you.

I just know that Big Dave is already happily reunited with my dad, Jack G. and countless other blessed souls that we lost too soon. I think that right this minute they are enjoying a 30 year old scotch in a Busch's Grove cabin and laughing about the old days at CBS. He will look down on each of you every day with love and pride - you could see how proud he was of all of you every time he looked at you!

I so wish that I could be there with you during this difficult time, one of the many downfalls of living 2000 miles away from all of my best and oldest friends.

Please know that I am there in spirit, and am sending lots of hugs and prayers from here.
