Reverend Dr. David Fielding

Fielding, Reverend Dr. David 73, of Granite City, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Evelyn's House in Creve Coeur, Missouri. David is survived by and will be missed by his wife, Connie E. (Blackwood) Fielding, whom he married on July 31, 1971; his son, David M. Fielding of Granite City, Illinois; his daughter, Dr. Sarah Ann Marie Fielding of Granite City, Illinois; his brothers, John (Cindy) Fielding of Lima, OH, Dr. Dennis (Kirsten) Fielding of Fairbanks, Alaska; sister-in-law, Dr. Judy Shepherd of San Diego, California; cousins and special friends, Ed and Marilyn Willis. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Cuffee. Services: In celebration of David's life, friends may call on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:00 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, 3715 Wabash Ave. in Granite City with Pastor Alan Beuster officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Murphysboro, Illinois. Memorials are suggested to Hope Lutheran Church or donor's preference. Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City is serving the family.
