David Wood Obituary

Wood, David John was born August 4, 1972 and went to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Beloved husband of Melanie Wood (nee Hofius); wonderful father of Brendan Wood and Evan Wood; cherished son of Dan Wood and Judy Wood (nee Aurin); dear brother of Beth Reuter (nee Wood); Precious grandson, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to so many. David played baseball, ice hockey and golf. He graduated from Lindbergh High School, attended St. Louis Community College - Meramec and completed his education at the University of Missouri - St. Louis. He pursued a very successful business career. Each and every day our hearts will miss him, for he was taken from us much too soon. His strength and courage inspired all who knew him. He truly was our hero. Services: As David wished there will be no public service. If desired contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice. A Service of KUTIS AFFTON Chapel.
