Deborah Braun Obituary

Braun, Deborah Faye "Debbie"

(nee Crawford) 72, of Town and Country, Missouri died peacefully on October 24, 2024, nurtured, and supported by her loving family. Debbie was born in Charleston, West Virginia in 1952 to Floyd and Barbara Crawford and had an upbringing in Washington State, Texas, and St. Louis, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Barbara Crawford, and her siblings, Alan Crawford, Marcia Crawford, and Brian Crawford. She is survived by her husband, William Braun, sons William Andrew Braun (Elizabeth) and Michael Crawford Braun (Madeline), grandchildren Liliana Marie and Harrison Crawford.

Debbie loved being with family and friends and was supportive of anyone who needed her help. After graduating from Maryville University, she was an elementary teacher in the Parkway School District for years. She later opened her own retail gift and floral design store as an outlet for her creative talents, and her love for decorating and the holidays. Her smile and warm nature will live forever in our hearts.

Services: A visitation and remembrance will be held at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road, Ballwin, Saturday, November 9th 2024 between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Friends may sign the family's online guestbook at Schrader.com.

Debbie introduced me to my wife, Susy; she and Bill gave us such wonderful memories of time well spent together that bring warm smiles to us whenever we reflect on those days. When I learned of her passing today we saw this rainbow shortly after and it provided more warmth of her friendship and love. In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always. Wishing Bill and his boys the strength, support and compassion they deserve.

Bill:
I just wanted to express my sincere condolences. Be good to yourself as you adjust to a new normal. And, as time passes, may the sorrow you are feeling today be replaced with memories that will live in your heart forever.
Sincerely,
Kim Stettes

I went to high school with Debbie at a boarding school in Texas. She was sweet, smart, funny, and a joy to be with. We got together again in 2017 at one of our reunions that happened in Santa Fe and it was wonderful to see her. Debbie was one of the nicest people I have ever met. Sending lots of love and condolences to your family. I know she will be missed tremendously.

Another Angel that gave more than she took departs us. Our sincere and deepest sympathies for the Braun family for this tragic loss way too soon. Seems like yesterday we were pinning Cub Scout pins on kids and having those Busch Mountain Men discussions over dinner. God Bless !
