We are so saddened about Denny´s passing. He always took the time to come sit with us when we were having dinner @Sam´s and Denny was in the house. Such a character and he shared wonderful stories with us about his beloved Barb while sharing a glass of wine with us.
I grew up hearing so many fun stories involving my Dad, Patrick Walsh and Uncle, Stephen Walsh with their cousin Denny. Now, they´re all together again, having fun, once again! Heaven help us all!

My parents cherished the many dinners and vacations with Mr and Mrs Long.
My dad unable to leave the house wants you all to know- Denny was a great and generous friend. He was so proud of his family! He is deeply missed.

Mr. Long was one of the most genuine, caring, giving-monetarily and of himself-men I have ever of knowing. He taught me plenty, too. Mr. Long was simply one of those people you feel grateful
for having been lucky enough to call a friend.
I will sorely miss the guy I affectionately called "DPL."
My father, Jerry Berra, also expresses his condolences. He and I visited Mr. Long at his home just a couple of months ago. We wound up staying 3 hours, at least. On the way home,
my Dad said "that was one of the most enjoyable conversation
I had in some time."

In Loving Memory of Dennis "Denny" Long
Denny, was my uncle, my godfather, my coach, and a beacon of light in my life.
He played a pivotal role in shaping my future, helping me get to Rollins College, where I would go on to meet my wife. Without Denny´s help, I wouldn´t have the family I cherish today, nor the life I´ve been able to build. But what strikes me most is realizing just how many others share a similar story. I wasn´t the only one he helped; there are countless people whose lives were transformed by Denny´s kindness, guidance, and willingness to give a leg up. He changed not just individual lives but entire family trees, creating ripple effects that will be felt for generations.
As I look back, I realize that so many of the positive aspects of my life are directly influenced by Denny. Growing up, I had few positive role models, so I looked to him as an example. The way I treat my wife and daughter, the way I conduct myself in business, and even the way I coach kids in soccer-all of it comes from him. The last 20 years of my career, where I´ve focused on mentoring others, helping people get started, or supporting them in their career growth-that´s all thanks to Denny´s influence.
Denny wasn´t just my uncle or my coach; he was the embodiment of everything good I aspired to be. He leaves behind a legacy of generosity, kindness, and an immeasurable positive impact on so many lives. I can´t think of a single person who has touched more lives for the better than my uncle Denny. His light continues to shine through all of us who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy lives on through so many of us.

Rest easy, Denny. You were an incredible leader and a terrific Irish tenor, too. Those of us who were fortunate to be led by you during the "beer wars" were truly blessed.

Dear Family of Denny Long, When your dad was the top executive of
Anheuser-Busch the company bought The Soccer Club in Fenton. It was the night before Thanksgiving and my band ERBS AND SPICE SHOW
was called by my agent to go and play that night to celebrate the purchase. That was the first time I met your wonderful dad. We played for many occasions because your dad requested us. His favorite song, at that time, was THATS WHAT FRIENDS ARE FOR and he´d ask me to sing that song many times throughout the night...so I did! I felt like he was my friend. Such a down to earth nice, smart man. I´m praying for all of you and I´m asking the Lord to comfort you. I´m sure he will be greatly missed. God Bless You all. Love,
Claudia Fuller-Erb

My parents, Fritz and Norma Hoffman were in the Top Hats with your parents. My mom and dad just loved your folks! We(my brothers K.C. and Keith would come over your house over by Bayless school. We would play and have so much fun. Fritz and Denny were in chorus together. May you never forget the good times . Bless you !
