Dwight Taylor Obituary

Taylor, Dwight D. of Florissant, MO, died July 19, 2016 at the age of 85. Loving husband of Darlene (Klitgaard) Taylor for 62 years. Beloved son of Lyle and Beatrice (Talley) Taylor. Devoted father of Karen A. Taylor and Janice Taylor Kapeller. Cherished grandfather of Casey (Spencer) Cohen, Andrea Hirsh, Christopher A. Kapeller, Laura Kapeller and Sarah Kite. Dear brother-in-law of Richard Klitgaard. He was preceded in death by his daughter Janice Taylor Kapeller, sister Virginia and Dr. Dale Jillson, Mary Klitgaard, and Dr. Howard and Anna Klitgaard. Dwight was loved by many nieces, nephews and friends. He was an aerospace engineer, employed by McDonnell Douglas. Services: Visitation will be Fri, July 22, 4 - 7 pm at HUTCHENS Mortuary, 675 Graham Rd., Florissant MO. Services will be Sat., July 23, 10 am at St. Mark United Methodist Church, 315 Graham Rd., Florissant. Interment St. Charles Memorial Gardens where he will receive Military Honors. Memorials may be made to St. Mark's United Methodist Church, the Kidney Foundation or charity of choice.

I have fond memories of Dwight and I on wind tunnel trips to Buffalo, NY. He was a good engineer and good friend. My deepest sympathy to his family.
