Eddie Treven Lowry Sr.

1930 - 2014

Lowry, Eddie Treven, Sr. 84, of Herculaneum, Formerly of St. Louis, died October 27, 2014. He was born Feb. 28, 1930 in Big Sandy, Tennessee and was preceded in death by his wife Gladys (Martin) Lowry, a brother Elmer and sister Parilee. Eddie worked for years at Swift Meats, owned a Gas Station in South St. Louis, and managed the parking garage at Busch Stadium for a number of years. He was a lifemember of the Allied Auto Racing Association and raced Stock Cars locally for many years. He was also a member of the Shriner's Moolah Motor Patrol and was active with the Masons and a member of St. Lukes Church. He is survived by five children, Rev. Scott K. (Terry) Lowry of Huntzville, Tennessee, Connie (Everett) King of Sandy, Utah, Donna (Michael) Hash of DeSoto, MO, Eddie (Janice) Lowry, Jr.of Pevely, MO and Robert (Diane) Ziden of St. Louis, MO. He had 12 grandchildren, Levi Lowry, Kimberli Lowry, Amanda McLeod, Clinton King, Dan Chilton, Doug Chilton, Donny Chilton, Crystal Lowry, Eddie Lowry III, Samuel Lowry, Dana Sternberg, Nicole Johnson and twenty-four greatgrandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Thurs. Oct. 30, 11:00 AM. Interment Lakewood Park Cemetery. VISITATION WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.
